As the bright-light model in our updated Zegho line, the Interceptor Black Zegho G2 expands on the functional qualities that made the original a cycling staple and preserves the styling that made it an icon.
The original Zegho set the foundation for enhancing the visual experience for cyclists. G2 goes further, refining shape, adding lens tints (the Interceptor Black depicted here is the darkest model), and including customizable RX solutions all while delivering the visual clarity and comfort that defined the original. With Carl Zeiss Vision Sunlens as a returning partner, we even tinkered with the lens; the G2 Carl Zeiss V-TORIC is lighter and lower profile while maintaining the original’s coverage and unobstructed rimless design. Despite the changes, the Zegho V2 still equips cyclists with 100% UV protection, absorbing harmful UV-A and UV-B radiation.
CONSTRUCTION/FIT
Our zeroPressure construction uses stepped-down pressure at the temples and a clickFace elastomer nose piece to secure the Zegho G2 in place while mirroring the head’s curvature.
ENGINEERING
tunnelView: The lens fades to clear across the lower third, maintaining visibility when entering tunnels or shaded environments. Incorporated into Interceptor Black lens only.
triggerClick: Intuitive click-button release on inner temple eliminates risk of breakage when swapping between the Interceptor Black lenses (15.7% light transmission) and the included Crystal lenses (90% light transmission).
Ri-Pel: Hydro- and oleophobic treatment on inner and outer face of all Carl Zeiss V-TORIC lenses. Rain, sweat, and grime wipe away cleanly.
INSERT
RX Insert: For those who require corrective lenses, every Zegho G2 includes a lightweight, customizable RX insert that seamlessly integrates with the lens by locking into the top of the nosepiece for a balanced, comfortable fit.
