Enve Fray Review

The Enve Fray enters a unique category of road bikes, blurring the lines between traditional race, endurance, and all-road bikes. The result is a bike which you really need in your collection, and what could be the only bike that you ever really need. In the first instance, the Fray’s frame has been optimised and designed for use wider tyres, which certainly matches the current industry trend and as riders who choose the Enve Frey will need to purchase their wheels to fit, this makes complete sense.

Enve Melee Review

The Enve Melee has been developed using its ‘Real World Fast’ design program - and the melee brings together a range of excellently designed road bike components into a frameset, which provides the perfect solution for riders looking for a lightweight, well-rounded race bike. In addition to providing rapid performance and progress, the Melee has also been designed to be easy to live with; it can cater to 35mm tyres, and there are also mudguard mounts. Of course, with this machine designed and developed by Enve, the quality of all of the components and the design as a whole is of course really high quality.

Pinarello F1 Review - Sub 3k Pinarello

The Pinarello F1 is opening new doors for riders who’ve long admired the prestige of one of cycling’s most renowned brands. As the new and lower entry point in Pinarello's F-Series lineup, the F1 offers a taste of their race-focused innovation at an approachable price point of £3,000—significantly lower than the higher-end models like the F5, F7, and F9. This places this bike in direct competition with other bike brands, such as Scott, Cannondale and Giant - who produce road bikes at this price point.

Cannondale SuperSix Evo Lab71 EF Replica Review

Regarding top-tier road bikes, few can rival the precision and design of the Cannondale SuperSix Evo Lab71 EF Replica. Until now, the Supersix Evo range was in its most advanced guise in the Hi-Mod specification. However, that’s been outdone by the Lab71 - a bike ridden hard in the 2024 Tour de France and a bike which was until recently, in scarce supply. Surly Preamble Review

Surly provide a refreshing approach to the design of bikes, in a world where most bike manufacturers are designing bikes which are laser focussed on different performance indicators, using exotic materials such as carbon fibre in order to maximise performance gains - Surly looks to provide steel bikes which make perfect sense, and tick most of the boxes that any rider would ever need. The Surly Preamble is an important part of this mission, it’s designed for use on tarmac and gravel - it’s got plenty of charm and is incredibly versatile. The approach is covered off nicely by Surly themselves, who state that this bikes design means that ‘Nothing more is needed, Nothing less will do’.

Colnago V5Rs Review

Despite some grumblings, the Colnago V5Rs is more than just an upgraded version of its wildly successful predecessor, the V4Rs. To start with, the new frame of the V5Rs weighs just 685g in its unpainted form and provides much more aerodynamic performance and design than the outgoing V4Rs. There’s also a new flagship rider, Tadej Pogačar; the V5Rs caters for both pro riders and serious amateurs, and Colnago has boldly called it ‘the ultimate all-round racing bike’ - that’s a statement that many agree with, including the UAE team Emirates XRG who have adopted this bike so that you can expect to see this bike on the world stage across the coming months.
