The award winning Ransom range from Scott is upgraded, with battery power! The aim of the electric motor addition to the Ransom is to make one of Scott’s most popular and exciting enduro bikes, even more fun and versatile - allowing cross country riders to ride quicker, and further. The suspension travel on the eRide 920 is massive, with 180mm of suspension travel, and a Bosch Performance Line CX motor providing the forward assist, with a 625Wh battery.
The chassis on the Ransom eRide is a lightweight alloy, with no carbon fibre eRide frames available yet. New features are present, but one of the most noticeable changes is the absence of the Twinloc suspension system, which many people disliked. Instead, Scott has chosen to fit a combination of very tunable suspension. At the front of the bike is a Fox 38 Grip 2 Fork or Rockshox ZEB. At the rear of the bike is a Fox Float X2 air shock, which provides incredible performance.
Power wise, the internal 625Wh battery found on this bike is housed in the down tube, and easily drops out from underneath of the tube. When riding, there’s a plastic/rubber cover to protect the battery out on the trails. Power wise, there’s a fantastic 85Nm of torque - which also has a boost/overun function. At peak power, the Bosch motor provides 600W power, which is plenty to get you up and across any kind of terrain.
As standard, the bike is fitted with 29 inch wheels - which are fitted with Maxxis Assegai/Dissector Tyres with EXO+ casings. The frame is compatible with 29 and 27.5 inch wheels alike - so you can change this bike to suit your exact requirements.

Delivery of Bikes We ship all our bikes free of charge within the United Kingdom (excl. Jersey and the Channel Islands at this time) and all our bikes come pre-assembled with just a few tweaks required (Please see our Bike Build Instruction page for details of assembly required).
All our bikes undergo a safety check before being re-boxed for shipping which can during busy periods take a little longer to complete so whilst we aim to ship all our bikes within two working days of the order please allow for additional time for this process.
Signature Required All our consignments irrespective of the carrier require a signature upon delivery, deliveries are typically made between 08:00 and 18:00 so please bare this in mind when choosing a delivery address.
Package Recycling We do try when possible to reuse packaging from our own suppliers in order to send purchased items to our customers, we ask if the packaging is still in good condition after you've received your goods then please try to use it again or recycle if not possible.
