ProGuard Standard Rear Mudguard
Designed to help protect your shock, linkages and bearings from getting hammered by mud, dirt and water at high velocity from your back wheel. This helps to minimise cleaning post ride and maximise intervals between services.
New for 2023 the ProGuard Rear is now available in two lengths, Mini and Standard. The Mini is the original guard we’ve had in the range for a couple of years - available here: RRP ProGuard Rear Mudguard - Mini. This Standard joins the range to offer an extended coverage option.
The STANDARD does everything the MINI does but more, the rear of the STD mudguard is 83mm longer than the MINI to offer a little bit more protection to the seatpost area, and the front is 136mm longer to further protects your lower linkage bearings from getting hammered at high velocity from mud and spray off the back wheel (this mudguard is NOT designed to protect the rider). The front of the mudguard has had the thickness reduced to allow the user to cut and trim with a pair of sharp scissors to better fit their bike design. There are multiple fitting configurations via push- through holes and wide holes on the arms that allow for angle adjustment for various seatstay configurations.
The ProGuard Rear Standard offers an additional 83mm on the rear coverage and 140mm additional length at the front. The material at the front of the guard is made using a slightly thinner material so it can be trimmed to optimise the fit to your specific bike.
