The 20" Alpha Three is our smallest geared bike. The NEW 9-speed Microshift drive train and 11-36T wide range gearing is the real deal and gives growing riders truly usable gear range. It features:

• Prevelo confidence inspiring low and narrow geometry. Prevelo geometry keeps the rider low, balanced and in control.
• Lightweight 6061 aluminum frame with custom formed tubing.
• Lightweight aluminum alloy fork with chromoly steerer.
• Front and rear v-brakes.
• Lightweight Allen head front and rear wheel skewers for secure wheel installation.
• Three piece crank with squared taper cartridge bearing bottom bracket and ultra narrow Q factor.
• Custom made cranks. All Prevelo cranks are sized specifically for each model bike, down to the millimeter.
• NEW Microshift 9-speed drivetrain. Uses a shorter pulley cage without comprising gear ratio width. Because kids’ bikes have small wheel diameters, rear derailleurs on kids bikes hang low and close to the ground. The Prevelo Alpha bikes use smaller cage derailleurs to keep things high and away from the ground.
• Microshift Trigger Shifters. Small hands have a hard time using twist shifters. We use reliable silky smooth thumb shifters. They are easy for small hands to operate, and operate just like shifters on high performance bikes.
• 95% assembled. Just install the handlebar, seatpost, front wheel and pedals.

Kid Optimized Crank
Prevelo crank lengths are custom sized for each size bike to make sure little riders have optimum pedal ergonomics. And they have ultra-narrow Q-factors to match the narrow hips of young cyclists. If that sounds like technical mumbo jumbo, here's the point - Prevelo cranks will help make small riders more comfortable and efficient on their bike.

Confidence Inspiring Geometry
The Alpha Three features Prevelo's signature confidence inspiring geometry. Prevelo geometry utilizes a low bottom bracket that lowers the center of gravity of the bike and rider, making for a more agile and confident ride.

9 Speed Microshift Drivetrain with Wide Span Gearing
9-speed Microshift drive train and 11-36T wide range gearing is the real deal and gives growing riders truly usable and class leading, 327% gear range. Kids are going to be efficient on the flats and have the leverage of low gears available to help make it up tough hills.

Kid Optimized Cockpit
This is where little riders command their steed. It's decked out with ultra thin grips and short reach brake levers that are optimized for small hands. The Microshift shifter is operated with two easy to operate thumb levers.
