Michelin began creating bike tyres in 1889 and in 1891 created the first removable pneumatic tyre that went on to win the world's first long-distance cycle race. Michelin have always been at the forefront of bike tyre design and innovation and offer products for road bikes, hybrid bikes and mountain bikes. A current favourite among staff and customers on the mountain bike side is the Michelin Wild Enduro, offering sticky compounds and a grippy tread pattern. The Michelin Power road bike tyres are equally popular with those who prefer their tyres a bit more on the skinny side.
