Since it was originally founded in central Texas in 2008, Alchemy’s aim has always been to make the best, most beautiful, high-performance bikes possible. They started with hand built custom steel and titanium frames but always aimed at the high-end carbon market. Within two years, the company's founder Ryan Cannizzaro moved to Denver, Colorado and assembled a team of talented craftsmen, bringing the full production process under one roof in order to bring the carbon dream to life. The Helios was the first carbon frame produced in Colorado and it’s unparalleled ride quality and attention to detail can still be seen in the latest version. In time, the new location’s proximity to the Rockies and the call of the trails led to the production of the Arktos; this carbon full-suspension bike was created to handle the roughest terrain imaginable. Each Alchemy is far more than a bicycle.
Enve make high-end carbon rims, wheelsets and components in their state-of-the-art facility in Ogden, Utah. R&D, customer support, manufacture and assembly are all under one roof, giving full visibility and control of every aspect of their products, which in turn means that the end user receives the best product possible. Enve won’t compromise materials, processes or the performance of a product in order to fit a price-point and they don’t do a lower tier. With Enve, you’re not paying for the brand name or image; it has their name on it because it’s the best it can be. Enve are risk takers, innovators, engineers and skilled individuals and they are driven by their love of cycling. Enve aren't afraid to take the path less travelled; their free thinking has resulted in many patented technologies; this results in products which are much faster, lighter, stronger and more durable.

The Arktos is an award winning full-carbon construction full-suspension machine, built to tackle rough terrain, jumps, drops and everything else you're likely to encounter on the trails with ease. The secret to this bike's responsiveness, efficiency and eagerness lies in the patented Sine suspension design. Suspension designer David Earle has designed this dual link platform with a regressive initial stroke to aid small-bump compliance and climbing traction. The mid-stroke is progressive, which stops the bike wallowing under big impacts or hard cornering. The end of the stroke is then regressive again to enable full use of the six inches of travel. When the shock's rate is graphed, the line resembles a Sine wave, hence the name. This is all very clever stuff but all you really need to know is that this bike will change what you thought you could do out on the mountain!
