3802 LLU MAX Black Oxide ABEC 3 Sealed Bearing

£25.99

3802 LLU MAX BO - MAX-Design, Double Row, Black-Oxide, ABEC-3, radial suspension bearing - 15mm 24mm x 7mm -

Enduro Bearings pioneered MAX type bearings over 20 years ago for bicycles to address the challenges associated with mountain bike pivots. MAX bearings provide 35-40% more load capacity than standard radial bearings by employing with a special design where the maximum number of balls (full-complement) are inserted into the bearing, via a custom ground slot in the races. The race grooves are also deeper on these bearings to provide increased lateral support to counteract the twisting and multi-directional forces associated with mountain bike pivots. This MAX-type, Double-Row, Black-Oxide, ABEC-3 bearing features deep-groove design races, with Grade 10 balls and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals for maximum protection against the elements, while keeping the 90% fill of Almagard extra high pressure grease inside. The double-row design greatly reduces flex in the suspension linkage while doubling the bearing contact area and the black-oxide coating provides an extra level of corrosion resistance and extended worry-free performance.

This bearing has been used as a suspension pivot bearing by Pivot and Santa Cruz bikes, and has also been identified by the part number HNA000BA00 elsewhere in the industry.

The Enduro line of bearings are available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. Our bearings are always engineered with deepest groove races possible to accommodate the largest balls and feature dual-lip seals that ride in a micro-groove creating a full labyrinth to provide superior protection against the elements.
