Electrically assisted mountain bikes have been around a while now, and they have featured in Scott's line-up for a decade, so they've become quite good at making them! The Scott E mountain bike range has evolved over the years, stemming from the original E-aspect, to now offer a complete collection of eMTBs to suit all riders and all budgets. Their most recent addition to this line-up is the Lumen eRide which uses the TQ HPR50 motor to create an eMTB that weighs as little as 15.5kg/34.17kg. The Lumen eRide also features the hidden rear shock that their more recent bikes have included, resulting in a Scott eMTB that looks cleaner and slimmer than most normal mountain bikes. For the more budget conscious, the likes of the Aspect e-Ride still exist but have been updated and upgraded since their original conception, and the e-bike equivalents of the Spark, Genius and Strike are as prominent as ever. For anyone in the market for a reliable, well specced e-bike, the Scott E MTB range is definitely worth checking out.
