Delivery And Returns Information
Free via Royal Mail, DPD Local or FedEx Economy when you spend over £50 in a single order. We offer services from Royal Mail, DPD Local and FedEx to mainland UK, and Royal Mail only to highlands and islands. Delivery costs are displayed at checkout. Delivery should be expected between 2-3 working days unless stated on the product page.
Worldwide deliveries are sent via FedEx. All delivery costs are displayed prior to checkout. If your country isn't listed for delivery at checkout, please contact us. If your delivery address is outside of the United Kingdom you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country; westbrookcycles.co.uk advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information.
All our consignments irrespective of the carrier require a signature upon delivery. Deliveries are typically made between 08:00 and 18:00, so please bare this in mind when choosing a delivery address. Goods purchased on finance can only be delivered to the address on the application.
Where possible we do try to reuse packaging from our own suppliers in order to send purchased items to our customers. We ask if the packaging is still in good condition after you've received your goods, then please try to use it again or recycle it yourself.
On occasion we may use a different courier than you selected. This is usually due to circumstances outside of our control, and in order to get your order to you as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Delivery Of Bikes
We ship all of our bikes Free Of Charge within the United Kingdom (excl. Jersey and the Channel Islands at this time) and all of our bikes come pre-assembled, with just a few tweaks required. (Please see our bike assembly guide page for details of assembly required). All of our bikes undergo a safety check by our Cytech qualified mechanics prior to being re-boxed for shipping. We aim to ship all of our bikes within two working days of the order, however please allow for additional time for this process during busy periods. All bikes over £1500 will be shipped via Club 75 Bikes in the UK (excl. Ireland). Club 75 offer a specialist one-to-one service, dealing solely in the transport of bikes, which means with no depots to go through, the chance of your bike being damaged in transit is minimal.
Returning Your Purchases
It's our aim at Westbrook Cycles to provide a returns service that is totally hassle-free for you. If you're not completely satisfied with an item you may return it within 30 days, as long as the item isn't fitted or used we're happy to receive it back for a refund.
To return your item(s):
1. Put your unused, labelled item for return back in it's original packaging.
2. Include something with your order number, and specify if you would like a refund or an exchange. Please note that exchanges are subject to stock availability.
3. Send the parcel to the following address:

4. We will be in touch if there are any issues or when your return has been processed.
If the item is being returned as a result of our error (damaged, defective, wrong item sent etc), we will refund Royal Mail First Class or Standard Parcel postage costs.
If a refund is requested and the item is being returned as a result of a change of mind, purchased the wrong size, item is not suitable, etc... the original cost of the outbound postage will be refunded by us, however the consumer is liable for all return costs incurred.
If an exchange is requested and the item is being returned as a result of a change of mind, purchased the wrong size, item is not suitable, etc... we will not refund any postage costs and the consumer is liable for all return costs incurred. We will not charge shipping to send the replacement item out.
All refunds are processed in GBP (£). Westbrook Cycles will not refund any charges made by your bank for currency conversions or any customs charges incurred throughout the shipping/returns process. Westbrook Cycles will not refund differences caused by fluctuations in exchange rates. Shipping costs will be refunded as outlined in the paragraph above.
Guidelines For The Best Experience
Each returned item should be in it's original packaging with the manufacturer's labels attached. Please do not tape or attach labels directly to the retail packaging.
Retail store purchases should be returned to the original place of purchase. If this is not possible then follow our website returns policy and include proof of purchase.
We reserve the right to reject the return of goods which are not returned in accordance with our Returns Policy and we may request that you pay for the shipping of such goods back to you. Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
A deduction will be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary. The extent to which a customer can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop.
Once we receive your goods, we will inspect and process them within 24hrs. Refunds will automatically be issued to the same payment method used to purchase the goods. As soon as your return has been processed by our team we will email you to let you know. In the unlikely event that you don't receive this email within 10 days of posting your parcel to us, please get in touch with our Customer Service Team through our Contact page or by calling 01642 710232.
If your purchase isn't everything you expected it to be and you wish to exchange an item the simplest and quickest thing to do is place a brand new order for your new item and return the old one to us for a full refund.
Goods That Cannot Be Returned
There are some goods you can't return if you simply change your mind, including:
- CDs, DVDs or software if you've broken the seal on the wrapping
- Perishable and other items that deteriorate rapidly such as food
- Custom Built, tailor-made or personalised goods
- Used goods including footwear which have had cleats fitted
