Orange Full Suspension Mountain Bike Guide

Orange full suspension mountain bikes are some of the most unique bikes that we sell here at Westbrook Cycles. Pioneers of trail and downhill riding, Orange bikes provide great performance, from designs which remain simple yet incredibly effective - perfectly matched to the challenging riding and winter conditions here in the UK. All of the bikes below are available to order from our website, or to buy in store - and all of our Orange Bikes are available to purchase with flexible finance options.

Phase RS Electric Full Suspension

The Phase RS Electric Full Suspension Mountain Bike is a trail biased electric full suspension mountain bike - which allows the rider to tackle the biggest terrain. There is 180mm of travel at the front of the bike, and 170mm of travel at the rear wheel.

Electric bike technology matches the high performance suspension setup of this bike - there’s power assist controls, and the bike has a new and improved frame, as well as the Shimano EP8 drive system with a 630wH battery, providing 25% more capacity over previous versions.

As with all Orange Bikes, the rider can expect a low centre of gravity.

Switch 7 SE MX

The Switch 7 SE MX benefits from 170mm of front and rear suspension travel. This bike takes its name from the very popular Switch 6 but the Switch 7 is designed to be ridden harder and faster than the 6. The 7 has been developed with feedback from the EWS race team, and the result is a bike which is a great representation of everything Orange stands for; its innovative design means this bike has been designed to be pushed as hard as possible on the world’s toughest stages.

Alpine Evo Pro

The Alpine Evo Pro is a difficult bike to classify, it’s not a pure enduro bike - but it is incredibly versatile - meaning it can perform in almost any situation it’s put in. There’s 160mm of front travel and 150mm of rear travel, not the biggest numbers that Orange is usually using - and instead the focus on this bike has been the quality of the ride, vs massively aggressive travel. It’s been designed to be playful, without losing any ability on serious terrain.

Switch 6 Pro MX

The Switch 6 sits in a unique position within the Orange range, it has a mixed wheel size. At the front, is a 29er wheel with 160mm of travel and at the rear, there is a 27.5 wheel with 145mm of travel. It's a bike aimed at racers and fast trail riders. It’s one of the ultimate, do it all full suspension mountain bikes.

Stage 6 Evo Pro

The Stage 6 is an aggressive trail bike, with 29 inch wheels, a 150mm fork and 140mm of rear wheel travel. It’s designed for maximum aggression, and rides terrain comfortably past what you think is capable when reading the suspension travel numbers. It’s a bike which is permanently in sports mode, and is capable of both lifting the hairs on the back of your neck, and also allowing you to ride the trickiest of terrain, fast.

Five Evo S

The ideal bike for singletrack, the Five Evo again does a fantastic job of outperforming bikes which have longer suspension travel. This bike manoeuvres incredibly well, and is responsive. It has 140mm of front travel and 130mm of rear travel, with 27.5 inch wheels.
