2026 Scott Bikes And Lineup

The mountain bike and road bike industry likes to keep us on our toes and wondering what’s coming next - which leads to next year's lineup of bikes always being released the year before, so as we enter the final months of 2025 - we already know what exciting new developments there are. In this post, we look at the 2026 lineup of Scott bikes, the latest machines developed by Scott Sports, directly engineered in Switzerland.

Scott has long been one of the premier bike brands, for decades now they have designed and developed bikes which have set the boundaries of what is possible when it comes to bike performance, control, comfort and versatility - today their range of bikes are largely mastered, and 2026 models continue to provide refinements and updates which keep Scott at the very top of the game.

Bike models released in 2026 cover almost every cycling discipline you could wish for - there’s road bikes which provide either a race focussed geometry and performance, right across to road bikes designed for all day adventure jaunts. There’s gravel bikes which cover the both, and there’s a massive array of mountain bikes. This range covers bikes which have electric assistance in the forms of batteries and motors and those without.

In this post, we look at some of Scott’s new releases and evolutions whilst also looking at another great bike brand we stock here at Westbrook - Giant, looking at how these bikes brands are both pushing themselves and their available bikes forward into 2026 and beyond.

2026 Scott Addict

At the very pinnacle of the road bike range, sits the revamped and evolved Scott Addict. This bike has been developed to provide not only great endurance performance, but also performance which makes the bike a joy to ride. The new Addict has an increase in compliance of over 50% compared to the 2025 model, which has been achieved through the introduction of slimmer seat tunes and redesigned seat stays that allow for vertical flex, without sacrificing stiffness and efficiency. There’s six models available, making the Addict available for all price points and all riding requirements and preferences. The flagship model within the range is the Scott Addict Premium, which features a HMX carbon frame, which weighs just 780g in medium size. The Addict Premium also features a Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 Groupset. The next available Scott Addict is the Addict 50 which has a HMF carbon frame and mechanical shifting. The lineup continues to cater for a wide range of budgets and lower price points.

The 2026 Addict has larger tyre clearance, which is no surprise - it can now take 38mm rubber, which provides welcome vibration damping, making this range of bikes more comfortable than ever on everything from silky smooth tarmac across to light gravel riding. There’s also a higher stack and a shorter reach - which provides an equally welcome, upright posture that's better for back and shoulders, making it a much friendlier bike to ride for longer distances.

Clever touches seem to be a key focus for bike brands in 2026, and the 2026 Addict is no different - it’s got an integrated tool kit in the downtube, a T25 tool which is stashed in the handlebar ends and full compatibility with Syncros components.

Running parallel to this machine, and launched for 2026 also, sits the Giant Defy Advanced. The defy features a composite frame that’s been designed with efficiency, compliance and comfort in mind. This has been achieved through dropped seatsays and tuned frame tubing, both bikes do a great job of minimising fatigue in the saddle, and both are more than capable bikes for putting long days in the saddle.

The Scott Fastlane

The Scott Fastlane is an electric road bike, which has been a stealthy introduction into the brand’s lineup. The bike is stealthy full stop, featuring the compact and sleek TQ HPR40 mid-drive motor, which delivers 50Nm of torque, blending seamlessly into the carbon fibre frame, giving the outward appearance of a traditional road bike. The bike is designed for riders who really want that little bit of extra assistance on ascents and during times where there are heavy headwinds. There’s an integrated 360Wh battery and hydraulic disc brakes, there’s plenty of tyre clearance and also vibration dampening features - which allows this bike to effectively reduce rider fatigue. The most exciting thing about the bike is just how subtle it is - it’s not clunky, there’s no large hub motor and the bike feels very much like a traditional road bike on descents and flats.

The Scott Spark RC World Cup

Scott has always done mountain bikes so well, and nothing really comes close to the all new Scott Spark RC World Cup. This is a true beast of a bike, and it’s known for its dominance on the world stage. It’s a racing bike, an XC race bike and it has 120mm of travel both front and rear, up 10mm compared to the previous version. It features Rockshox’s all new Flight Attendant Electronic Suspension, which intelligently and automatically switches the suspension between lockout, pedal and descend modes - depending on what terrain it senses. The HMF carbon fibre frame is not surprisingly brilliant, and there’s a SRAM X0 AXS transmission which allows riders to enjoy wireless precision. The wheels are from Syncros and are the Silverton Carbon Wheels and these are fitted with the Maxxis Rekon Race tyres, which provide plenty of pace on climbs and trails alike. This really is one of the most, if not the most impressive XC bikes on the market.

Another great trail/XC bike is the Giant Anthem Advanced SL, like the Scott model, this is a pure bred XC bike which is incredibly lightweight, hitting a frameweight of just 1500g. This bike looks great, has full internal routing and has 100mm of Maestro suspension travel, providing plenty of efficiency on the trails. It’s more accessible than the Scott price wise, but does miss out on 20mm of suspension and Scott’s higher end specification.

2026 The Scott Gambler

The Scott Gambler has long been lovingly known as the Swiss Army Knife of downhill and enduro mountain bikes. The bike has a massive 210mm of rear travel and over 200mm of travel at the front fork, it’s carbon framed, can be ridden with either a mullet setup or 29mm wheels and can run on both coil or air shocks. It has massively adjustable geometry, via flip chips and headset cups. There’s a six bar linkage, which has a short link pivoting around the bottom bracket, delivering tuneable progression and minimal pedal kickback. There’s also the rear shock which is concealed in the downtube, complete with multi tool for easy access. There’s a SRAM X01 drivetrain and Fox Factory Suspension.

Scott 2026 Bikes

In a year where rider centric designs have been at the forefront of bike manufacturers' wish lists, Scott has really nailed it. They’ve developed a range of bikes that are more rider focussed than ever before, fusing the latest technology with their designs and tradition which are the result of decades of innovation.
