Castelli Classifica Jersey Review

We have been getting our hands on the latest Castelli range, and trying their jerseys out on the roads. In the recent spell of good weather, we have taken out and reviewed the Castelli Classifica review for some long road rides, and this is what we thought.

The Classifica is a high quality summer jersey, it’s lightweight and is available only in short sleeved options. It performs as you would expect a Castelli Jersey to perform, it’s highly breathable - using a micro-pique fabric composition with polyester to ensure breathability. We took this jersey on some warm rides and there was no huge urge to undo the jersey to let some air in. This jersey is effective at keeping you cool, and it does an excellent job of wicking sweat away from the body.

Designed for more relaxed riding than any racing, the jersey is a ‘close fit’ without being skin tight, so it’s good to wear on a recreational ride - where appearance and confidence is more important than maximum cycling efficiency. The jersey stays in position really well, with a silicone gripping tape around the hem of the jersey which helps keep it in position, and keeps everything covered.

Around the back of the jersey you can expect a three pocket setup, all are nice and deep and there is a zip pocket for looking after house keys and valuables. This good summer cycling jersey retails at £85 and we supply it online at just £68, here.
