Workshop Mechanic

The Role

We are looking for an experienced cycle mechanic to join our busy team in Stokesley, North Yorkshire. Our workshop is responsible for the setting up of new bikes to fulfil eCommerce orders as well as the repair and maintenance of customer’s bikes. Up to date product knowledge is essential, including familiarity of eBike systems and electronic shifting systems.

The role will involve working with our team of technicians to set up and PDI new bikes, as well as diagnosing and repairing customers' existing bikes.

The successful candidate should have an industry relevant qualification such as a level 2 Cytech or City & Guilds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform setup and PDI of new bikes
  • Diagnose and repair customers' existing bikes
  • Effectively communicate inventory stock levels to ensure repairs can be conducted in a timely manner
  • Keep up to date with current product knowledge and report any training that may be required in order for the technicians to correctly perform their jobs.

Desirable Skills And Experience

Ideally the successful candidate will:

  • Have a high level of technical and product knowledge
  • Have a reasonable level of computer literacy
  • Have Cytech level 2 qualification or equivalent
  • Be punctual and self-motivated
  • Be friendly and approachable
  • Be an effective communicator
  • Be organised and efficient

Hours And Salary

You will be required to work for five days each week, between Monday and Saturday. These days are subject to change, worked out on a weekly staff rota.
The position is full time, working a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
You will be entitled to 28 days annual leave.
Salary is £25k - £30k per year, dependent on experience.


CMS Product Executive

We are looking for a self-motivated and hardworking individual to join our busy website team. A keen eye and attention to detail are essential for this role as it centres around the manipulation of data. Some basic Adobe Photoshop use is involved so previous experience is beneficial but not essential.

The job role will involve:
• Adding products on to our CMS system in order for customers to buy online
• Occasional stock taking
• Editing of product images in Adobe Photoshop

The ideal candidate will:
• Be hardworking
• Have an excellent attention to detail
• Have Microsoft Excel experience, although not essential
• Have Adobe Photoshop experience, although not essential

Due to the dynamic nature of this position the role may be subject to change alongside the needs of the business.

Shop Assistant

We are looking for a self-motivated and hardworking individual to join our busy team. The successful candidate should be an enthusiastic cyclist ideally with previous retail experience, as well as having good communication skills and be flexible to help in other areas of the business as needed. You will also need to be computer literate.

The job role will involve:
• Greeting and dealing with customers in store
• Answering the phone
• Dealing with customer queries over email
• Helping with the day to day running of a retail store

The ideal candidate will:
• Be interested in cycling
• Have at least a basic technical knowledge of road and mountain bikes, including e-bikes
• Be pleasant, polite and approachable
• Be self-motivated and hardworking
