Spur

The Transition Spur is in cross country bike territory in terms of suspension travel, but in reality it rides very much like a trail bike, feeling much more confident on the descents than most XC bikes. It has 120mm suspension travel front and rear, which makes for a very efficient climbing platform, but this bike goes beyond "down country", excelling at technical descents as well as the climbs. As modern full suspension MTB goes, it's not quite as light as an all-out XC bike, tipping the scales from around 26lbs, but that's certainly lighter than most trail bikes, which as mentioned previously is really what the Transition Spur is. 29" wheels front and rear give the best performance in terms of rolling resistance and speed, further improving both ascending and descending performance.
