Colnago
C68
The Colnago C68 is the latest iteration of the Italian brand's iconic C-Series bikes, and as with its predecessor, is hand built and painted in Italy. In addition to the standard C68, there are now some variations available, such as the Colnago C68 rim brake designed for the traditionalist and built from Carbon Fibre with Titanium lugs. For riders looking for more comfort than the standard road bike geometry provides, the Colnago C68 All Road features relaxed geometry, a taller headtube, and clearance for a 35mm tyre.
At its core, the Colnago C68 frameset becomes a high performance Carbon road bike, built with a modular construction to enhance stiffness and improve control. It has similar geometry to the V4Rs, which is a nod towards its racing heritage and capabilities. Although not a dedicated aero bike, thought has been given to improving the aerodynamics of the Colnago C68, making it a truly competitive endurance road bike.
As mentioned previously, riders looking for enhanced comfort can benefit from the subtle differences the Colnago C68 All Road provides. A taller headtube and slightly relaxed geometry allow riders to adopt a more comfortable riding position, making it easier to churn out the miles on a long day in the saddle. Wider tyre clearances further add to the comfort levels, providing more cushioning than the standard Colnago C68 will allow.
Although disc brakes have now been widely adopted in the road bike world, there are still cyclists out there that long for a more traditional way of life. The Colnago C68 Rim Brake is constructed from Carbon Fibre and cutting edge 3D printed Titanium lugs to create a bike that is both ultra-modern and classic, all rolled into one. Cyclists looking at modern endurance road bikes whilst longing for the simplicity of a rim brake don't have to compromise on performance in order to get what they want. These Carbon fibre road bikes are every bit as fast as their disc braked sibling, whilst retaining their golden age of cycling heritage.
