Ernesto Colnago founded Colnago in 1952 and the bikes his company produce have been revered since their inception. For a lot of roadies, owning a Colnago road bike is something to aspire to, as they not only use cutting edge carbon fibre in their construction, but are also hand painted and finished, making them look exceptional. They are seen as quintessentially Italian and have even collaborated with Ferrari to produce a road bike. More recently, the Colnago gravel bike, the G3-X, has been added to the lineup for those who want to veer off the beaten path and head out along the railway lines, fire roads and singletracks, but do so in style.
