BBright is the Cervelo standard. It is oversized, asymmetric, and is found on most of their frames, save the P5. The shell has a 79mm width and 42mm diameter. To get Campagnolo Ultra-Torque cranks to work with the shell, you need this bottom bracket and these bearings.

CeramicSpeed Standard or Coated Bearings come in the kit. Super round and smooth, CeramicSpeed Balls are contained in hardened-steel races are found on both versions. The Coated version has a metallic coating laid onto the races, making it even smoother and harder, resulting in lower drag and longer life.

In The Box:

  • 1 Bottom bracket with bearings installed
  • 2 x 1mm spacers
  • Wave washer
  • 10ml syringe of CeramicSpeed All Round Grease
  • Sticker sheet

The Hirth joint, 25mm spindle, and bearing placement make UT unique. Bearings are installed on the spindle, resting against the arms. A removal/installation tool is necessary; we sell one here, but any appropriate tool will work. Spacers are included in case the bottom bracket shell is too narrow.

We start with our ceramic balls: 400% smoother, 128% harder, 58% lighter than steel. Installing in our hardened-steel races, CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings often have frictional drag 0.3-0.4w per set with standard grease. About 75% drag reduction vs. standard bb's. They also last at least 3x longer.

Coated Bearings further your performance. The coated races find a 50% drag reduction and an improvement in bearing life of 60% vs. Standard.

Tailoring performance to your needs, change grease. All Round Grease is installed; can be swapped for lower drag TT and Track Grease or higher durability LongLife Grease, better for messy conditions.
