Engineered for long days at easy tempos, the TACTICA T5 accommodates rides with frequent stops while maintaining a warm, dry microclimate, even in extreme conditions. The front panel is made from CLIMA-CHAMBER, a quilted, hydrophobic insulator with low-volume loft in structured chambers. CLIMA-CHAMBER is supported with an inner layer of HEATER, which has a waffle structure that traps micropockets of warmth while expelling internal moisture. The new CORE Medium textile wraps the arms in full-length thermoregulation and water-repellency, and a rear panel of RX Extreme completes the TACTICA T5’s 360-degree protection with high insulation and a DWR treatment. For adventure touring on gravel, trail, or road, the TACTICA T5’s expansive storage provides more room for ride essentials and waste disposal – a dedicated pocket for spent gels and wrappers is critical on backcountry missions. Though it protects and insulates like a winter jacket, the TACTICA T5’s construction is still streamlined to reduce bulk, especially on the sleeves, without restrictive pressure.
