Mountain Bike Helmet lights are a fantastic product for use on the trails in the dark or on the roads during darker/duskier weather. Helmet-mounted lights have numerous benefits, and they work best in conjunction with bike-mounted lights.

Helmet-mounted lights work best, supplementing bike lights already on the bike, which are often a legal requirement. A helmet-mounted light, at eye level increases visibility and safety - with another additional light at head height, but also assists you in you seeing the road/trail ahead - helping you identify obstacles and debris in your path. On the commute, bike lights can often be blocked by other cyclists or road users, so there’s another massive benefit to having a light mounted on your helmet, higher than the lights on your bike.

Unlike handlebar-mounted lights, helmet-mounted lights also let you see more. They point wherever you are looking, so they are instrumental when looking around out of the direct line where your bike is pointing.

At Westbrook Cycles, we stock and supply an excellent range of helmet-mounted lights with several different designs - so you can choose the right one. Many of these lights have various mounting options and are available in rechargeable specifications - allowing you to save on the cost and inconvenience of switching out batteries.
