Taking its cues from ENVE’s bestselling SES 4.5 AR Disc Wheelset, the 3.4 AR is ideal if you’re looking for all road versatility in a shallower depth. On all-day road rides where you’re likely to encounter some poorer road surfaces and even gravel, this wheelset offers luxurious comfort. Running lower tyre pressures means smooth riding, and smooth riding means greater enjoyment on the bike. Because the 3.4 AR is also aerodynamically optimised for 28-32mm tyres you’ll still roll super-fast, enabling you to perform at your best on every ride. Why cut comfort or speed when you can enjoy both?
As with the rest of the SES range, the 3.4 AR derives its name from its rim depths -39mm front, 43mm rear - each with patented dissimilar SES rim geometries which better manage airflow around wider tyres, significantly reducing flow separation.
In a remarkable feat of carbon craftsmanship, the 3.4 AR Disc Rim also weighs the same as the standard 3.4 despite utilising a wider construction. The lightweight composition means that the 3.4 AR Disc is perfectly primed for climbing, giving you yet another performance boost on longer mountain rides.
The SES 3.4 AR Disc utilises ENVE’s innovative wide hookless bead anti-pinch flat technology.
