The DT Swiss brand began in 1994 through a management buyout from Marco Zingg, Maurizio D'Alberto and Frnnk Bockmann, who remain today as the three owners of the company. After this, the DT Swiss Cycling brand really kicked off, and began operating in the USA and expanded its range to include rims, wheels and suspension forks.
