Chains

Bike chains are constructed from several different links pinned together. They are an essential part of any bike—they convert the power we generate by pedalling into the bike's cassette, which propels the bike forward. As well as providing forward momentum and energy, these chains also assist in gear changes, with small ramps on the chain allowing the chain to switch gears on the cassette.

You can find our complete range of 11-speed bike chains on this page. These chains have been designed to work with an 11-speed transmission, and these chains are narrower than other types of chains, such as a 9-speed chain, as there are narrower spaces on an 11-speed cassette.

It’s always best to check the compatibility of your bike chain, as a Shimano chain will not be the smoothest choice with a Campagnolo cassette and vice versa. SRAM chains, however, can work with Shimano Groupsets.
