The Orbea Laufey is one of the best hardtail mountain bikes we've seen here at Westbrook Cycles, because it is not only incredibly well specced for the price, but also looks great and is exceptionally capable. Usually modern mountain bikes will come in well over £3000 for a build of this quality and spec, but the Orbea Laufey range tops out at only £2699 making it an incredibly attractive option. The Laufey range are all Alloy framed, but that doesn't mean they are inferior to a carbon mountain bike. This bike has been thoroughly well thought out and features excellent trail bike geometry, and features like internal cable routing designed to minimise cable rub, and a forged chainstay yoke to offer maximum tyre clearance around the big volume tyres modern hardtail mountain bikes use, all without sacrificing strength. Components such as Fox 34 and Rockshox suspension forks, Shimano drivetrain components and Maxxis tyres are seen throughout the Orbea Laufey collection.
